Coach Fernando has recently served as Age Group Coach for the Swim Team in California and currently works as a Swim School Coordinator & Coach for the Bulldog Swim School by ABSC in Athens, GA. Fernando is a former Brazilian National Coach. He is an ASCA Level 5 Swim Coach, holds USA Swimming, Red Cross, SwimAmerica Certification, a Physical Education Degree and a Masters in Physiology. Fernando has coached many Olympians and World Class Swimmers. Coach Fernando sure loves learn to swim as he had a swim school in Brazil for over 30 years prior moving to USA.

Coach Fernando has 2 children: Gabby Matthews & Fernando Soraggi JR. They all love the sport of swimming and do a lot of commnity outreach projects through the sport. Fernando loves jazz, wine and dancing.
